About the project

RID Nigeria — Rivers in the Desert Nigeria Initiative — has been mobilising, equipping, and positioning Christians to transform Nigeria since 2009. It is an organisation with significant reach: thousands of youths engaged, dozens of conferences and seminars held, multiple active initiatives running simultaneously across the country. When they came to us, the challenge was architectural as much as it was visual. How do you build a single website that holds multiple programmes, communicates a broad mission, and serves audiences ranging from donors to grassroots participants — without feeling cluttered or confusing?

What We Built

We approached the project with structure as the primary design principle. The site needed to be navigable and informative without overwhelming. We built a clear information hierarchy that surfaces RID Nigeria’s core mission immediately, then guides visitors into the specific initiatives they are most relevant to — whether that is Agenda T035, Christian Inclusion in Politics & Governance, CSI Aid, the Centre for Faith-Based Policy, or Politics and Jollof.

Each initiative has its own dedicated section within the site, giving the organisation room to communicate specific goals and updates without those stories competing with one another. The resource hub — housing reports, blog content, and updates — was built to grow over time as the organisation documents its impact.

The Outcome

RID Nigeria now has a digital platform that reflects the breadth and seriousness of its work. Visitors understand the organisation’s mission within seconds of landing, can navigate into specific programmes with ease, and can follow the organisation’s ongoing activity through the news and resources section. For an NGO working at the intersection of faith and national transformation, having a credible and organised digital presence is not optional — it is part of the work. This website delivers that.

RID Nigeria needed a website that could carry the weight of our mission and communicate it clearly to a broad audience. Jorion Technologies understood that responsibility and delivered a platform that represents our work with the professionalism it deserves.
